A 21-year-old woman, who had been tortured for dowry for three years by her husband and mother-in-law, was assaulted, doused with kerosene and set ablaze by her husband and mother-in-law, and later died of her injuries at a hospital on Wednesday night. Meetu, a 28-year-old woman was, set on fire and killed by her husband and in-laws for giving birth to a girl and not fulfilling their demands for dowry. Read the report here.
