November 15, 2013

Advocate Asha Sahu on Thursday filed a complaint against CBI (Central Bureau of Investigations) director, Ranjit Sinha in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar, for his  derogatory remark against women and urged the court to punish him under various sections of Indian Penal Code.  Ranjit Sinha had earlier stated “If you can’t prevent rape, you enjoy it.”  Asha Sahu said it was shameful that “that a responsible person, who is head of the country’s top most investigating agency, had made such a disgusting and cheap remark on women. ”
